Restaurant & bar POS for hotels
Restaurants and bars usually run on a separate system, and that disconnect costs lost sales and closes that don't balance. The Lokibed POS manages menus, table maps and orders inside the same system as the rest of the hotel. The waiter opens the order on the table, adds menu items or an ad-hoc line, and the charge is recorded without leaving the platform. The map shows every table live: free, occupied with an open order, or reserved, with table bookings by time slot.
The key part: when you close the order you pick cash or folio, and if it goes to the folio the total is posted against that reservation's open account. There's no posting the charge twice or cross-checking tickets at check-out: everything stays consolidated on the stay account and comes out on the same invoice as the reservation. What the POS does not do yet is control stock: selling a menu item deducts nothing. The supplies module does track stock with audited movements and low-stock alerts, purchase orders and suppliers, but it is not wired to the POS — and we won't sell it as if it were.
What's included
- Menus, table maps and orders in the same system as the PMS.
- Live table status — free, occupied with an open order, or reserved — plus table bookings.
- Order closed against the folio: the total is posted to the guest's room account.
- No double posting or manual ticket cross-check at check-out.
- Charges consolidated on the stay account: one cash desk for hotel, restaurant and bar.
- The POS does not control F&B stock: selling an item deducts nothing. Audited stock lives in the supplies module, unwired to the POS.
Frequently asked questions
Do restaurant charges go to the room?
Yes, when you close the order against the folio: the total is posted to that reservation's open account, consolidated on the stay account and billed on the same invoice as the reservation, with nothing entered twice. If the charge isn't from a staying guest, you close the order against the cash desk instead.
Does it control food and beverage stock?
The POS does not: selling a menu item deducts no stock. What does exist is the supplies module, with audited movements, low-stock alerts, purchase orders with states, suppliers and an accounts-payable ledger — but it isn't wired to the POS today, so you record consumption there. If stock deduction triggered by the sale is a hard requirement for your operation, we don't have it today and we'd rather say so.
Is it a system separate from the PMS?
No. The POS lives inside the same system as the hotel: one cash desk for lodging, restaurant and bar, with a single folio and a close that balances.
